01 · Problem

Android reports device temperatures differently from one manufacturer to the next, and the system UI surfaces little beyond the battery. The goal was one live view of every temperature sensor a phone exposes — battery, CPU, GPU and ambient — with a warning before it runs hot.

02 · Approach

A Flutter app with a native Kotlin layer that reads the battery, CPU, GPU and ambient sensors the device actually exposes, then normalises them into one live dashboard. BLoC drives the state, Hive stores the reading history on-device, and GetIt/Injectable keep the sensor services testable. Smart notifications warn when a temperature climbs.

03 · Outcome

Published on Google Play, where it is closing in on 100,000 installs.
